The Coffee Run: Andy Sieg’s rocky road to saving Citi Wealth

We've launched a new weekly video series to accompany Morning Coffee, in which we look at one story in more depth to give you the full picture.

One of Citi's biggest success stories in recent years is its wealth division, which has undergone a complete transformation under Andy Sieg. Doing so hasn't been easy, and he has faced some controversy, but is still appreciated by CEO Jane Fraser. Find out why on The Coffee Run.

Thank you for the balanced reporting. Last week, the Texas judge in my case requested an in-person hearing about whether to stay here in arbitration or go to court in New York. I suspect Citi's attorney, Sam Shaulson of Morgan Lewis, was expecting a rubber stamp to stay in Texas so I'll take this as good news. Meanwhile, I find amusement in the fact that Jane Fraser told Barron's she was “very happy” to be suing the women who had complaints. Besides being a really unprofessional statement by a CEO, it seems like an awfully confident thing to say given how hard Citi is working to keep my case out of the public domain. They obviously don't want my damning screenshots to see the light of day, lol. P.S. I realize it's not “typical” for a plaintiff to be as vocal as I have been, but large corporations have counted on intimidation to keep plaintiffs silent - and their conduct out of public view - for too long. At this point, it's impossible for me to lose because I won by keeping my voice!
