Sales and Trading BA - Product Governance / Product Management

Hybrid - 2/3 split

6-month contract

£750 per day (via Umbrella)

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Sales and Trading Subject Matter Expert (SME) / VP to work with them on a contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Support Product Approval Framework and governance across S&T EMEA.
2. Develop policies, standards, processes and training materials for product approval and governance.
3. Review and improve Trader Mandates and Trading Venue governance, repositories and controls.
4. Support algorithmic trading governance, including policy changes and compliance evidence.
5. Review product classifications and drive remediation where required.
6. Develop MIS/reporting to track product governance, mandates and trading venue compliance.
7. Maintain booking arrangements and inventories and support a Remote Booking Standard for cross-border trading.
8. Help deliver an upgraded product taxonomy across EMEA.
9. Map product data lineage across systems and downstream functions.
10. Support internal audits and regulatory reporting.

The candidate:

1. Strong product governance / controls / change management experience.
2. Experience working across Front Office and control functions such as Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance and IT.
3. Good understanding of S&T products, trading venues, trader mandates and booking models.
4. Experience with policies, procedures, governance frameworks and process improvement.
5. Strong data/MIS and documentation skills.
6. Ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
7. Good understanding of algorithmic trading and regulatory compliance would be valuable.
8. Comfortable working in a complex, fast-moving EMEA trading environment.
