Oracle EBS Architect

£750 per day (via Umbrella)

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking an Oracle EBS Architect to work with them on a contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Oracle Finance architecture and IT delivery across EMEA.
2. Manage and mentor Oracle Finance SMEs.
3. Oversee Oracle GL, AP and Fixed Assets solutions.
4. Lead implementations, rollouts, enhancements and production support.
5. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
6. Ensure data quality, controls and financial reporting integrity.
7. Drive process improvement and automation.
8. Manage issues with business teams, IT teams and vendors.
9. Lead governance and Design Authority sessions.
10. Maintain documentation and provide user training.

The candidate:

1. 15–20+ years’ experience, with around 15 years in Oracle Financials.
2. Strong finance and accounting knowledge, ideally within banking.
3. Hands-on Oracle Cloud and EBS experience.
4. Strong experience with GL, AP and Fixed Assets.
5. Full end-to-end implementation and production support experience.
6. Knowledge of R2R, P2P and financial controls.
7. Oracle tables and SQL troubleshooting skills.
8. Strong business/technical stakeholder management.
9. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
10. Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
11. Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.
