We're partnering with Quant , a global leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, seeking an Engagement Director to join their team.

The Clearing House has selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, a new network for clearing and settling tokenized deposits across the US. We're hiring the person who leads the operation behind it from our Manhattan office.

Job Description

You would be TCH's single accountable point of contact on contract, commercials and relationship, and the one who stands behind the outcome. Reporting to our US COO, you own the service levels, the operational roadmap and the regional P&L, and lead the Heads of Platform Reliability and Security.

The network is expected to launch in the first half of 2027. How the operation runs and how it's judged are still to be settled, and you'll be the one settling them.

You will need

• To have run a delivery operation for a financial institution under a contract with stringent KPIs and SLAs.
• To have been accountable for a P&L, a headcount plan and an operating budget, ideally including 24x7 operations.
• Credibility in a room with bank executives and in a room with engineers. Most people have one, not both.
• Real experience of regulated environments: audit trails, examinations, and change control that has been tested by someone external.

Useful, not essential

• Blockchain or distributed ledger exposure. We can support you to learn our technology if you are the right person.
• Payments, market infrastructure or transaction banking, particularly real-time payments or high-value clearing.

The Clearing House, whose networks clear and settle more than $2 trillion a day, has now selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative: a new interoperable payments network that will let financial institutions of all sizes clear and settle tokenized deposits, with connectivity to the RTP® and CHIPS® networks. Our technology provides the network's interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layer, enabling payments that settle immediately and transactions that trigger automatically once agreed conditions are met.

Through our Tokenized Deposits-as-a-Service solution, banks of any size can join without building new infrastructure themselves. The network is expected to become available to participating institutions in the first half of 2027, with use cases across corporate treasury, liquidity management, cross-border payments and digital asset settlement. We are building the New York team that will run it.
