Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior tax subject matter expert across the organization, advising Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance and other business functions.
• Lead federal, state and international tax compliance, planning and research.
• Provide expertise across employment tax, employee benefits, retirement plans, payroll taxation and information reporting.
• Oversee key tax filings, withholding requirements and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise leadership on potential business and operational impacts.
• Manage tax audits, examinations and inquiries from federal, state and international tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead enterprise tax risk assessments, identify compliance gaps and partner with stakeholders to mitigate risk.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, consultants and legal counsel.
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the tax team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of tax experience
• CPA required
• Strong background in complex tax compliance, including preparation and review.
• Experience with employment tax and employee benefit-related taxation.
• Exposure to international tax and nonprofit tax matters preferred.
• Experience partnering with cross-functionally
