About the Role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer is an integral part of Latham's Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of quality assurance automation frameworks, tailored to specific application needs, while developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements, including AI techniques to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing software requirements and documentation to ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability
• Supporting automation initiatives by contributing to the development and maintenance of test scripts and frameworks
• Collaborating with developers and QA team members to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, working closely with development teams to support resolution and promptly escalate issues as appropriate
• Participating in code reviews, QA reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities to promote consistency and quality standards
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Possess analytical skills needed for all primary duties, including comprehending and communicating complex concepts
• Exhibit working knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of various automation frameworks, including Playwright, and other tools supporting web and mobile app testing

And have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
• A minimum of three (3) years of advanced Automation Engineering experience

Pay Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
