Description The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and implementing the A&F marketing strategy, pursuit strategy, and client experience strategy. This position will manage the A&F marketing team and provide leadership to build client relationships and drive winning proposals. This position will promote a consistent brand, maintain strategic alignment across all A&F business lines, and cultivate a customer-centric culture to enable predictable growth and create value for our clients.

• Foster a close partnership with GP and business line/regional office leadership, assist with developing and then oversee execution of business line strategies as part of pursuit strategies.


• Work with pursuit teams and client account teams to identify and develop capture plans for targeted client opportunities.


• Manage proposal process, deadlines, and workload for all business lines.


• Promote the use of AI to support marketing, pursuit, and client experience strategies.


• Review and refine pursuit process, templates, and collateral on a regular basis.


• Provide oversight of CRM opportunities and reporting for all business lines.Manage client experience activities including annual conference strategy


• Marketing and client relationship building activities to include support of business planning messaging, go-to-market strategies, presentation strategy, and client account planning.


• Use, promote, and become a CRM super-user for A&F


• Analyze current client relationship development efforts for A&F and make suggestions for improvement.


• Establish strategic goals for the Marketing team and collaborate with A&F leadership to establish organizational strategic goals.


• Lead proposals as needed


• Manage marketing team, including productivity and professional development..


• Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to the staff.


• Recruit, develop, and retain staff.


• Reviews and approves timecards to reflect accurate labor hours.


• Responsible for the quality of the work product of the department.


• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field and 8 years in marketing, business development, or sales with a professional services firm required. Experience at an A/E firm preferred


• Previous management experience is preferable.


• Previous experience with Federal and/or Aviation markets is a plus.


• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.


• Position requires the ability to influence, lead, and manage change thoughtfully and positively.


• Extensive knowledge of the Request for Information and Request for Proposal process.


• Extensive knowledge of and previous experience preparing and coordination preparation of qualification submittals and proposal development in terms of deliverables, schedules, and the coordination of information resources to meet schedules.


• Must be proficient in the use of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign).


• Previous experience developing and delivering training presentations related to proposal communications, proposal strategies, business development and/or pursuit strategies.


• Certified Proposal Management Professional -APMP Preferred or equivalent
