Assistant Relationship Manager – Private Banking | Guernsey
2 x Permanent Positions | £55,000 + Benefits
We’re currently recruiting for two Assistant Relationship Manager positions with a leading private bank in Guernsey .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private banking professional to join a client-focused team, supporting the day-to-day management of sophisticated Wealth Management clients and working closely with Relationship Managers to deliver an exceptional level of service.
About the role
As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you will be a key point of contact for clients and their representatives, taking ownership of day-to-day client requirements while acting as a trusted delegate for the Relationship Manager when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and developing strong client relationships
• Handling day-to-day client correspondence and complex requests
• Taking ownership of cash management solutions and client orders, including FX, equities and fixed income
• Managing client account opening, KYC and AML requirements
• Supporting periodic and event-driven client reviews
• Preparing credit and loan requests and assisting with credit facility administration
• Coordinating client meetings and working closely with Portfolio Managers, Wealth Planners and Credit teams
• Supporting Investment Suitability Reviews and Credit proposals
• Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships and contribute to revenue growth
• Working collaboratively across teams and other branches
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience
About you
We’re looking for someone with experience in private banking or another client-facing front-office environment , together with a strong understanding of the private client industry and its products.
You’ll ideally be:
• Client-focused with a genuine passion for delivering excellent client outcomes
• Comfortable dealing with sophisticated private investors
• Highly organised, commercially aware and detail-oriented
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator and collaborative team player
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to resolve complex issues independently
• Commercially minded, with the ability to identify business development opportunities
• Experienced with Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English, with additional languages an advantage

Salary: £55,000 + benefits
