We are partnering with a global asset management firm to appoint an experienced RFP Specialist on a day-rate contract basis. This role will support a busy proposal function responsible for delivering high-quality responses to institutional clients across a broad range of investment capabilities.
This is a hands-on role focused on the end-to-end delivery of RFPs, RFIs and other client questionnaires. Working closely with sales, product and investment teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate, compelling and client-ready submissions that support business development activity across both public and private markets.
The opportunity would suit an experienced asset management RFP professional who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Managing the full lifecycle of RFP projects from receipt through to final submission
- Writing, editing and coordinating responses to RFPs, RFIs and due diligence requests
- Working closely with sales, product and subject matter experts to gather and validate content
- Facilitating proposal discussions to ensure submissions are aligned with business objectives and client requirements
- Customising investment and product messaging for institutional audiences across multiple asset classes
- Reviewing and proofreading proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
- Coordinating stakeholders across different teams and time zones to meet tight deadlines
- Maintaining and enhancing proposal database content to improve future response efficiency
- Supporting continuous improvements to proposal processes, content management and workflow practices
- Producing high-quality supporting documentation and client-facing materials as required
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven RFP writing experience within asset management
- Understanding of institutional client requirements across public and private markets
- Knowledge of a broad range of asset classes and investment products
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple competing deadlines
- Experience working with proposal management systems and content databases
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across investment, product and distribution teams
- A highly organised and detail-oriented approach to delivering client-facing materials
- Ability to operate effectively within a large, matrixed organisation
- Degree educated, ideally in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
- Additional European language skills would be advantageous
