Liberty Towers is recruiting a Director of Business Development for an international payments technology business expanding its presence in the airline and travel sector.

This is a new business role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning early conversations into commercial opportunities. You'll have the autonomy to develop your market, supported by colleagues across product, technical delivery and leadership.

The role

• Identify and win new airline clients.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, payments, technology and commercial teams.
• Understand clients' payment challenges and develop proposals that demonstrate measurable business value.
• Lead opportunities through discovery, negotiation and close.
• Maintain a well-qualified pipeline and accurate forecasts.

About you

• Eight or more years' relevant experience in enterprise sales, business development or strategic partnerships.
• A strong understanding of payments and a track record of winning complex business.
• Airline or travel sector experience and an established industry network are highly desirable.
• Comfortable engaging senior executives and working independently.
• Commercially curious, persistent and motivated by new client acquisition.
