The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for…

• Leading and managing complex commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Handling a wide range of legal matters across the business within a lean legal team environment
• Supporting business stakeholders by providing practical, strategic legal advice
• Overseeing regulatory-related workflows in coordination with two paralegals
• Managing multiple priorities and acting as a key legal point of contact internally
• Contributing to legal processes and supporting the company's continued growth in a dynamic environment

The Associate General Counsel should have the following qualifications:

• JD and licensed attorney in good standing
• 8+ years of experience, ideally with strong transactional or commercial contract background
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Ability to operate independently in a lean, high-responsibility environment
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner with stakeholders across functions
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take on a broad range of legal work
• Insurance or reinsurance experience is a plus, but not required
