Job Purpose

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to join the team. The role involves managing a full caseload of high-volume, high-value (over £10,000) litigated RTA recovery cases, delivering high-quality claims handling and maximising recoveries within agreed timescales to support the overall success of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of high-value litigated recovery files using the firm's case management system
• Ensure accurate and timely updates on the case management system
• Progress cases efficiently using appropriate communication methods
• Provide professional, timely legal advice to clients with regular communication and expectation management
• Take a commercial and practical approach to settlement negotiations and risk advice
• Support team performance against recovery and lifecycle targets without compromising integrity
• Liaise with sources, experts, third-party insurers, and other stakeholders
• Perform effectively in a target-driven environment

Experience & Knowledge

• Experience managing a full caseload of litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims is essential
• Working knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrable background in customer or stakeholder-focused environments - with a strong focus on delivering quality service to clients and the wider firm.
• Competence using case management systems and MS Office
• High attention to detail, organisation, and commitment to quality service
