Management Accountant

Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (WFH Every Friday)
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment With A Strong Chance To Go Permanent
Salary: Circa £50,000 (Equivalent)
Start Date: Immediate Start Required

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a leading Media company based in London on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can take ownership of the monthly management accounts process from start to finish and make an immediate impact within a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts from start to finish
• Month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance analysis and commentary
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Business partnering with key stakeholders across the business
• Assisting with audit requirements and year-end processes
• Identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant
• A strong self-starter
• Ability to produce management accounts independently from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of VAT and experience preparing VAT returns
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Available immediately or at short notice

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience within a Media, Advertising, Publishing, Entertainment, Broadcasting, or Creative business
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
