Aon is seeking an
Industry Analyst, Enterprise Client Group (ECG) to help position our Industry capability as a strategic differentiator for clients and support profitable growth across the firm. This role combines industry research, commercial strategy, analytics, project management and client-focused insights to help industry leaders identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and deliver measurable business outcomes.



This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office.

What the day will look like




Industry Insight & Strategic Analysis

• Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic developments, competitor activity and emerging market opportunities.

• Conduct data analysis and trend analysis to identify actionable insights that support business growth and strategic decision-making.

• Assess industry risks and opportunities, providing recommendations that help industry leaders and client teams respond effectively.

• Develop research, market intelligence and forecasts that support client development and growth planning.

Commercial Growth & Client Development

• Partner with Global Industry Leaders to identify growth opportunities, support revenue initiatives and strengthen industry positioning.

• Support business development activities including client proposals, presentations, annual reviews and strategic account planning.

• Contribute insights that help client teams deepen relationships, improve client satisfaction and support long-term retention.

• Assist with marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, industry events and relationship-building activities that increase market visibility and referral opportunities.

Client & Industry Insight

• Develop an understanding of Aon's products, services, insurance solutions and advisory capabilities, and how they help clients address complex challenges.

• Support the development and sharing of industry insights, market trends and client intelligence across teams.

• Contribute to client engagement activities by providing research and analysis that helps strengthen client relationships and inform decision-making.

Data, Financial & Performance Analysis

• Analyse commercial, operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

• Produce reports, dashboards and insights that help colleagues understand business performance and emerging opportunities.

• Support improvements in data quality and explore new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance analysis and reporting.

Project Leadership & Collaboration

• Support the delivery of strategic industry initiatives by coordinating activities, monitoring progress and helping teams achieve key objectives.

• Prepare materials, research and insights for leadership discussions, planning sessions and client-facing activities.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Industry, Enterprise Client Group, Sales Enablement, Marketing and regional teams to share knowledge and deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and helping to develop best practices.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Experience in commercial analysis, business intelligence, consulting, financial analysis, industry research or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear and actionable insights.

• Experience using reporting, visualisation or analytical tools to interpret and communicate data effectively.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience supporting projects, initiatives or programmes involving multiple stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.

• A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.

• An interest in industry trends, client challenges, risk management, insurance and business growth.
