Responsibilities
This senior regional leadership role will set the strategic direction and provide oversight of the Sanctions Compliance programme across Asia Pacific, encompassing advisory, governance, screening effectiveness, regulatory change, risk assessments and complex escalations. The successful candidate will lead a regional team and act as a key advisor to executive management, global Financial Crime leadership and regulators, while driving transformation, automation and broader Financial Crime initiatives across the region.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of senior Financial Crime experience with deep expertise in Sanctions and a strong understanding of AML and broader Financial Crime disciplines. Proven experience leading regional teams, developing multi-jurisdictional sanctions frameworks, managing regulatory relationships and delivering complex transformation programmes is essential, while exposure to automation and AI would be advantageous; interested senior leaders are invited to apply for a confidential discussion.
