Analyst / Associate – Corporate Finance
Haitong Int’l Securities Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd SingaporeWe are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Analyst or Associate to join our Corporate Finance team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the execution of cross-border and regional transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and Private Fundraising advisory.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional or an exceptional fresh graduate to gain deep exposure to landmark regional transactions within an entrepreneurial and dynamic global investment banking platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Be part of a dynamic and expanding team responsible for originating, structuring and executing corporate finance transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and Private Fundraising advisory.
• Perform quantitative analysis including financial modelling, peers analysis and financial statements analysis.
• Undertake and compile research and analysis on markets, companies and industries.
• Assist in the preparation of pitch books and marketing materials for client presentations, and provide support to sales and marketing initiatives as required.
• Support the KYC and business-related internal tasks as required.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, analytical rigor and client service in all deliverable and engagements.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with an exceptional track record of relevant investment banking or corporate finance internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accountancy, Business or a quantitative discipline is a plus.
• Holder of CMFAS RES 4 - Rules, Ethics and Skills for Corporate Finance licence preferred.
• Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, corporate valuation techniques, and data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Pitchbook and Mergermarket)
