As a Specialist in Client Managed Services - Business Services, reporting to Director - Client Managed Services, you'll play a critical role in delivering first-line functional support to Nasdaq's cloud clients, helping them get maximum value from the Calypso platform.

You'll thrive in this position if you're client-focused, analytically sharp, and passionate about capital markets - with the ability to work across global teams and complex financial environments to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary functional contact for cloud clients, supporting their day-to-day use of Calypso across front office, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, and accounting.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve operational issues reported by client users, identifying root causes and recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Review and advise on clients' functional configuration of the Calypso platform, implementing approved changes as needed.
  • Monitor scheduled task execution, real-time interface exceptions, and system performance, escalating and coordinating fixes where required.
  • Partner with internal product support teams to document, validate, and prioritize software defects and hotfix deployments in client test environments.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven years of experience in the capital markets sector, with a background in Business Analysis or Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products including Fixed Income, Equity and Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities, FX, Structured Products, and Futures and Options - including pricing, settlement, and lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of risk, pricing analytics, P&L reporting, settlement processing, book structure, accounting, and collateral management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage clearly with global clients and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional qualification such as CFA, IMC, CISI, or equivalent postgraduate finance certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Calypso or comparable platforms such as Murex, Finastra (Summit or Kondor+), Aladdin, or SimCorp.
  • Familiarity with market data sources, third-party systems, and regulatory frameworks affecting investment banks and asset managers.

This position will be located in Wroclaw and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The annual gross base pay for this role is zł117,000 - zł228,000. At Nasdaq, we use a structured job and career framework to make sure growth opportunities are clear and fair. The pay range you see reflects the full salary band for this job level, including room for progression over time. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will fall within a portion of the posted range that's appropriate for this role.
