The Finance Analyst will join the finance team responsible for several EMEA countries. This role is dedicated to a prestigious IT sector client within our facilities management line of business. The primary responsibilities include acting as a contract controller during month end and invoicing, as well as providing effective contract reporting and financial guidance to the wider team. The Finance Analyst will work closely with Finance Managers, the client finance team, and other stakeholders across EMEA.

What You Will Do:

• Manage month end close for assigned countries.

• Prepare adjusting journal entries, including reclasses and accruals.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in line with the Master Service Agreement.

• Ensure contract margins align with expectations and reflect actual performance.

• Report and comment on unusual variances as needed.

• Manage the invoicing process for assigned countries.

• Coordinate the preparation of invoice backups per contractual requirements.

• Follow up on overdue debt.

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.

What You Will Need:

• University degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar field. A combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered.

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting.

• ERP knowledge, with iScala, SAP, or Peoplesoft preferred.

• Advanced Excel data manipulation skills, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.

• Experience preparing and posting journal entries.

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and factors affecting the situation.

• Ability to remain focused in a changing environment, multitask, prioritize, and meet key deadlines.
