1. Review management accounts of the fund manager, investment funds and SPVs

a. Liaise with fund administrator and other service providers on accounting and financial matters

b. Review accounting entries for accuracy, completeness and consistency with supporting documentation

c. Reconcile supporting schedules and underlying records to management accounts

d. Review financial statements prepared by the external service providers

2. Compilation of valuation of portfolio companies and preparation of quarterly reports

a. Coordinate with the investment team to obtain financial and operational information relating to portfolio companies

b. Compile valuation information for quarterly/periodic reporting

3. Capital calls and distributions

a. Assist in preparing calculations and supporting workings for capital calls and distributions

b. Prepare capital call and distribution notices for investors

4. Audit, tax, and corporate secretarial related matters

a. Attend to queries and requests from auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretary

b. Work with corporate secretary on preparation and completion of corporate secretarial documentation

5. Attend to periodic and ad hoc information requests by investors

6. Assist in managing liquidation process of liquidating entities

7. Perform periodic reconciliation of financial information across accounts, reports, schedules and supporting documents

8. Support other financial and operational matters as required

Candidate Requirements:

1. Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance or professional qualification – ACA / ACCA / CPA / MICPA etc

2. At least 3 years of working experience in auditing or fund administration. Experience with international accounting firms would be an added advantage

3. Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail

4. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately within deadlines

5. Proficiency in Excel
