Description & Requirements
Job Objectives
- Process and approve claims within authority limit which include verification of transactions & preparation of case summaries exceeding limit for superior's approval.
- Effective claims management in area of timely claims approval, finalization of outstanding claims & assist superior on other ad hoc jobs.
Individual Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Execute the strategy developed by Non-Motor Claims Manager to support the business needs.
- Analyze claims trend and alert the Underwriters and Marketing Personnel of multiple claims or adverse claims experience.
- Manage the performance of service providers to ensure they comply with our requirements in term of reliability, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and monitor the performance of the team to ensure we meet or exceed the customers' expectation.
- Approve/recommend claim settlement fairly and equitably and within the TAT set in OSPE.
- Ensure minimal complaints and attend/resolve to them promptly.
Business Operations
- Ensure effective and efficient administration of day-to-day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions
Compliance
- Ensure consistency with enterprise risk management guidelines
- Ensure compliance with regulations and laws
- Ensure good corporate governance is practiced and are being exercised by the company
People Management
- Build an organization that attracts and retain talents to ensures critical business processes are highly efficient and effective
- Assemble and empower a high performing team. Ensures effective succession plan in place for key positions
- Ensure regular communication of key imperatives
Education/Academic Qualifications:
Professional/Technical Qualifications & License:
Minimum degree in related field or equivalent
Functional knowledge/Technical skill:
AMII or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Product knowledge
- Insurance Fundamentals
- Claims management
- At least 8 -10 year working experience in the insurance industry.
