Senior AML/KYC - Remediation - Private Equity

Your Day-to-Day:

Lead and perform complex AML/KYC remediation and client review activities
Conduct detailed reviews of high-risk client and investor profiles
Analyse complex ownership structures, source of wealth / source of funds information and supporting documentation
Identify AML/KYC red flags, inconsistencies and potential compliance risks
Challenge existing analyses and ensure that risk assessments are adequately documented and justified
Perform enhanced due diligence reviews and assess complex or sensitive cases
Ensure compliance with applicable AML/CFT requirements, internal policies and regulatory standards
Provide guidance and support to more junior team members on complex KYC matters
Escalate significant findings and contribute to the resolution of complex cases
Maintain high-quality and audit-ready documentation throughout the remediation process

Your Profile:

Extensive experience in AML/KYC, remediation, Client Due Diligence or Enhanced Due Diligence
Strong expertise in the review and assessment of high-risk client and investor profiles
Excellent understanding of AML/CFT regulations, KYC requirements and risk-based approaches
Proven ability to challenge KYC analyses and identify complex compliance issues
Experience analysing complex ownership structures and identifying UBOs
Strong knowledge of Source of Wealth / Source of Funds assessments
Ability to work autonomously on complex cases and provide guidance to junior and medior profiles
Previous experience within banking, investment funds, asset management, Private Equity, Private Debt or Real Estate environments
Experience working in a regulated financial environment is strongly preferred
Strong analytical, critical-thinking and communication skills
Good command of English
Knowledge of relevant AML/KYC tools and platforms is an advantage
