IT Project Analyst - Business Application Support Engineer

Your Day-to-Day

Set up and configure application environments across Development, Test, UAT and Production
Manage environments running on Linux and Windows servers
Deploy application changes and manage releases in line with established processes
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents
Configure applications and provide functional and technical support to business users
Build and maintain application integrations, including interfaces, batch jobs, APIs and file transfers
Work with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases for queries, data validation and troubleshooting
Coordinate with infrastructure, database, security and external vendor teams
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and environment inventories
Contribute to audits, IT controls and regulatory requirements

Your Profile

Experience supporting enterprise business applications in production environments
Good knowledge of both Linux and Windows server environments
Working knowledge of SQL, ideally with Oracle and MS SQL Server
Experience with application deployment, configuration and release management
Understanding of application integration concepts, including APIs, interfaces, batch processing and file transfers
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams
Structured and analytical approach to incident resolution

Nice to Have

Experience with Investran or other private equity / fund administration platforms
Experience with reconciliation applications
Previous experience in banking or financial services
Scripting knowledge: PowerShell, Bash or Python
Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM tools and change management
