About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Compliance Administrative Intern to join our Luxembourg team for a six-month internship. This is a genuine opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a regulated financial services environment, working closely with our Compliance Function and building relationships across a range of business areas.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Risk and Regulatory Compliance, you will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Compliance framework, supporting governance, documentation, training, and project activities. The role offers real exposure to compliance operations and regulatory processes within the Luxembourg financial sector, providing a strong foundation for a career in financial services.
What You'll Do
Governance and administration
- Support the Compliance team with day-to-day administrative activities and operational tasks.
- Maintain and organise compliance-related records, registers, databases, and systems.
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, and distribution of compliance reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Monitor action items arising from audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requests.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate information required for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance of Compliance policies, procedures, manuals, and guidelines, ensuring documentation is current and appropriately stored.
- Assist with the administration and tracking of compliance training activities and employee attestations.
- Help coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Support compliance projects, regulatory initiatives, and ad hoc assignments as directed by the Senior Manager of Risk and Regulatory Compliance.
- Conduct basic research on regulatory developments and industry practices.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive compliance and business information at all times.
What We're Looking For
Education and experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous internship, administrative experience, or coursework in compliance, risk, governance, or financial services is an advantage.
- A basic understanding of financial services, compliance, governance, or regulatory environments is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
Skills and attributes
- Proficient working level of English; French and/or German would be an advantage.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload appropriately.
- Professional attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive working relationships.
