Job Summary:

NCR VOYIX Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Technology Intern to contribute to our innovative projects and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technology environment. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

Software Engineer Intern Program:

• India Campus Hiring (B.E./B.Tech - CSE, IT)
• Duration: 12 months (conversion based on performance)
• Location: NCR Voyix India Offices

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, high-performing applications that deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and automation technologies to improve productivity and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world business challenges using data-driven approaches.
• Support the development of intelligent solutions utilizing AI, Machine Learning, APIs, and cloud technologies where applicable.
• Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high-quality engineering standards, security practices, and coding excellence.

What we're looking for (must-have skills) We have simplified our requirements into four core categories, with a growing emphasis on AI fluency:

1. Programming & Problem Solving:

• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in .NET, Java, Python, or C++.
• Curiosity to explore AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.

2. Database & Web Technologies:

• Good understanding of RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React, Node.js).

3. Cloud, AI & Emerging Technologies:

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Awareness of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and modern AI applications.
• Exposure to APIs, DevOps practices, containers, and cloud-native development.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance development, problem-solving, and productivity.

4. Soft Skills & Collaboration:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion to learn and adapt to new technologies.
