Our client is the Hong Kong branch office of an established multinational bank.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, advise, and execute licensing activities for both institutions and individuals, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth approval processes.
Track regulatory developments and maintain robust mechanisms to manage all relevant regulatory requirements effectively.
Work with compliance advisors and stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are implemented correctly and consistently.
Produce management information and reports on compliance status, risks, and recommendations; provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures.
Proactively escalate critical compliance risks with actionable mitigation plans, and coordinate global/regional compliance projects across the organization.

Requirements:

Degree holder with at least 10 years of relevant experience in compliance in the banking industry/ consultancy.
Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and good knowledge on laws and regulations relates to the banking industry.
Fluency in English and Chinese.
