Network Operations Engineer | Global Trading Firm | Hong Kong (Relocation Available)

A leading global trading firm is growing its network operations function in Hong Kong. You’d help keep the firm’s production networks stable, fast and reliable, in an environment where every second of downtime matters.

You’ll work on

1. Monitoring and alerting across trading, datacentre and wide area networks
2. Incident response and root cause analysis, working with vendors where needed
3. Planning and delivering production changes, with automation wherever possible
4. Improving the tooling and processes the team relies on
5. Multi-vendor routing and switching platforms

This is for you if

1. You have a solid background in network operations or production network support
2. You’ve worked within incident and change management processes
3. You’re confident troubleshooting routing, switching and multicast issues
4. You’ve used modern monitoring and observability tools
5. You hold, or are working towards, a professional-level networking certification

Bonus: experience at a bank, exchange, hedge fund or trading firm, plus exposure to low latency networks, scripting or Mandarin speaking.
