As a key member of the Investment Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution, control, and oversight of investment operational activities across the firm's investment platform. Beyond traditional operations responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to drive process enhancements, develop automation solutions, and support systems initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance data quality.

1. Support the day-to-day investment operations function, ensuring accurate processing and monitoring of investment transactions and related activities.
2. Oversee trade settlement, cash management, position reconciliation, and securities lifecycle events.
3. Perform portfolio, cash, and custodian reconciliations while investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
4. Coordinate with portfolio managers, fund administrators, custodians, brokers, and other service providers to ensure efficient operational processes.
5. Assist in fund operations, NAV review, investor reporting, and operational due diligence activities.
6. Monitor operational risks and ensure adherence to established controls and procedures.
7. Prepare and maintain operational, regulatory, and management reporting.
8. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency across the investment platform.
9. Design, develop, and maintain VBA-based automation tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
10. Automate manual processes involving reconciliations, reporting, data extraction, trade support, and portfolio analytics.
11. Partner closely with investment, finance, compliance, and technology teams to optimize operational processes.
12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational transformation projects.
13. Support system implementations, upgrades, data migrations, and integration initiatives.
14. Enhance data integrity, reporting capabilities, and scalability through automation and technology-driven solutions.
15. Recommend process improvements that strengthen controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
2. Over 3 years of relevant experience within investment operations, fund operations, middle office, asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or financial services environments.
3. Strong understanding of investment products, trade lifecycle, fund structures, and investment operations workflows.
4. Advanced Excel skills with hands-on VBA/macros development and process automation experience.
5. Experience participating in operations transformation, system implementation, or process optimization projects.
6. Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
7. Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful operational improvements.
8. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, risk management, and control.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. Proven track record of implementing automation solutions that reduce manual workload and improve operational efficiency.
11. Exposure to data analytics, workflow automation, Power BI, Python, SQL, or other automation tools would be advantageous.
12. Fluency in English and Cantonese is preferred.
