We are partnering with a leading investment management firm to appoint a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) based in Hong Kong. This is a well-rounded HR generalist role supporting business leaders and employees across the region. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, partnering closely with management on people-related initiatives while driving best-practice HR processes and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders and line managers on employee lifecycle matters, including talent management, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance on employee relations, people issues, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and align HR strategies accordingly.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Support onboarding and integration of new hires.
- Drive performance management cycles and talent review processes.
- Assist in identifying and developing high-potential employees.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Organize employee communication, wellness, and retention programs.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of HR experience, ideally within an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist capacity.
- Open to candidates from all industries, including financial services, professional services, technology, retail, healthcare, or multinational corporations.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience supporting regional populations would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin is highly preferred.
