An international bank is scaling up its Global Markets business in Asia and is building out a Rates and Macro Sales desk in Hong Kong under new senior leadership. This is a genuine build-out mandate, not a seat on an established book, with real scope to help shape the franchise from an early stage.

What you'll do:

1. Partner with senior leadership to help build and grow a Rates and Macro Sales franchise across Asia from the ground up
2. Manage and grow relationships across both real-money and fast-money institutional clients
3. Own client onboarding end to end, from KYC through to first trade
4. Field live client inquiries, working closely with trading on pricing and market colour
5. Help extend coverage into related fixed income products, including MBS and mortgage-backed securities, as the desk scales

What you'll bring:

1. A proven track record in macro and fixed income sales at an international bank; rates experience is essential
2. Experience managing institutional client onboarding and KYC
3. Comfort servicing both real-money and fast-money (hedge fund) client bases
4. Fluent Mandarin or Cantonese, plus strong English, and genuine ease working in an international, multicultural team
5. An entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to build something new rather than maintain an existing book
6. Bonus points for exposure to MBS, securitized or mortgage-backed products, and an existing Greater China institutional network
