We are seeking a fixed income investment professional to join the team at the Assistant Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager level. The successful candidate will contribute to portfolio performance across government bonds, corporate credit, money markets, and FX through active portfolio management, investment research, and risk oversight.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement investment strategies across duration, yield curve, credit, and currency positioning.
2. Manage or support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management of fixed income mandates.
3. Conduct fundamental credit and macroeconomic research to identify investment opportunities and risks.
4. Monitor portfolio liquidity, performance, and compliance with client mandates and regulatory requirements.
5. Execute bond and FX transactions while maintaining strong relationships with market counterparties.
6. Prepare investment recommendations, market commentaries, and portfolio review materials.
7. Support client presentations, product promotion, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

1. 5-10 years of experience in fixed income investing, portfolio management, credit research, or bond trading.
2. Experience within an asset management firm, institutional investor, or investment bank preferred.
3. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
4. CFA Charterholder (or progress toward CFA) is highly desirable.
5. Strong knowledge of government bonds, corporate credit, money markets, FX, and derivatives.
6. Familiarity with Bloomberg and advanced Excel; experience with Python or VBA is a plus.
7. Good understanding of SFC regulations and MPF investment guidelines.
8. Strong analytical, communication, and investment decision-making skills.
