Role Summary

We seek an experienced Informatica Developer with 6–12 years of experience to design and build data integration solutions for a leading banking client. This hands-on ETL engineering role focuses on payments and transaction data platforms using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC/IICS), supporting real-time and batch transaction flows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or IDMC/IICS (CDI, CAI)
2. Build mappings, transformations, workflows, and reusable components to process high-volume payments and transaction data
3. Develop integrations across multiple sources and targets including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, files, MQ/Kafka, APIs, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse)
4. Support migration of on-premise PowerCenter workloads to Informatica Cloud and modern data platforms
5. Design and enhance high-volume payment processing platforms, transaction management systems, and payment orchestration services
6. Build and maintain Straight Through Processing (STP) solutions to minimize manual intervention and improve operational efficiency
7. Optimize ETL jobs for throughput and batch-window compliance through pushdown optimization, partitioning, and session tuning
8. Support scheduling and operations (Control-M/Autosys), monitor batch cycles, and resolve production incidents within SLAs
9. Implement data quality rules, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks
10. Prepare technical designs, mapping specifications, and unit test documentation; support SIT/UAT and release cycles
11. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, DBAs, QA, and business stakeholders in Agile/hybrid delivery environments

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. 6–12 years of experience in ETL development and data integration
3. Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and/or IDMC/IICS
4. Working knowledge of banking and payments data platforms
5. Experience with payment processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation workflows
6. Proficiency with multiple database platforms (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Informatica certifications (PowerCenter, IDMC/IICS)
2. Experience with Informatica Data Quality tools
3. Exposure to data lineage and metadata management (EDC/Axon)
4. Knowledge of payment messaging standards (ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, ISO 20022)
5. Experience with cross-border payment systems.
