Your Impact

As an AI Sector Lead, you will be part of a team of Data & AI professionals and fully dedicated to our FS channel, serving Banking, Insurance clients, Payment Institutions and Infrastructure Players. You will be at the forefront of helping financial institutions shape, adopt, and embed AI-driven solutions that generate real business value. Your role will cover the entire AI lifecycle-from strategy and governance to implementation and operationalization-ensuring AI is tangible, pragmatic, and impactful within the Financial Services sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Inspire & Shape AI Strategy

Work with C-level executives and senior business leaders in the Financial Services sector to define and execute AI strategies aligned with industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements. Advise clients on AI monetization models, helping them leverage AI for enhanced risk management, customer experience, fraud detection, and operational efficiencies. Ensure AI strategies are grounded in governance, ethics, and risk management, with a focus on financial compliance, transparency, and resilience (ref. our Trusted AI offering & approach)

2. Sell & Deliver AI Transformations

Strengthen our firm's AI go-to-market strategy, expanding our AI footprint within the Financial Services sector
Lead client-facing AI engagements, identifying opportunities to integrate AI in areas such as financial crime detection, risk modeling, finance and regulatory reporting.
Shape and sell AI-related projects-ranging from AI strategy definition to AI governance and operational embedding.

3. Drive AI Operationalization & Implementation

Ensure AI solutions are pragmatic, embedded into business processes, and drive sustainable impact.
Oversee AI governance, risk, and ethics, ensuring clients implement trustworthy and responsible AI frameworks that align with financial regulations and supervisory expectations.
Guide clients on making AI part of their day-to-day operations, on top of possibly relevant one-off innovation projects.

4. Work Across a Multidisciplinary and Sector-Specific Team

Operate within our Data & AI Competence Center, collaborating closely with functional and sector experts, working closely with ESG, data, and financial industry leads to deliver AI-powered transformations.Manage and collaborate in a matrix structure, with some direct reports and broader coordination across teams.
Support and recruit AI talent where necessary to strengthen our capabilities.

5. AI Thought Leadership

(Nice to have) Represent the firm in AI thought leadership initiatives, speaking at industry-specific financial events, publishing insights, and contributing to AI discussions in the Financial Services sector.

Skills & Qualifications

What We're Looking For
Experience & Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in AI strategy, governance, advisory or consulting.
  Strong knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven success in shaping, selling and leading AI transformation initiatives within Financial Services.
• Experience translating AI opportunities into measurable business value and overseeing implementation and adoption.
• Well-connected within the Data & AI ecosystem, with an established network of clients, partners and experts.

Leadership & Collaboration

Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
Trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to bridge business, technology, data and industry teams.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen
Strong understanding of AI monetization, innovation and value creation.
Ability to align AI strategies with regulatory requirements, operational excellence and business objectives.
