Join a large and complex organisation undertaking a major strategic transformation programme, where data is considered a key business asset. You'll play a critical role in delivering enterprise-wide reporting, insights, and visualisation solutions that support executive decision-making and drive business performance.
Your new role
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering complex data visualisation solutions using Power BI and other BI technologies.
- Leading high-impact analytics initiatives and transforming large, complex datasets into actionable business insights.
- Driving best-practice dashboard design, visual storytelling, and reporting frameworks.
- Evaluating and implementing modern data visualisation platforms and technologies.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams to understand reporting requirements and influence strategic decisions.
- Leading stakeholder engagement activities and building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and development support to team members where applicable.
- Managing operational risks and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience developing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets within enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
- Expertise in data visualisation best practices and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organisational abilities.
- Experience leading projects and driving strategic initiatives.
- Previous people leadership experience, including performance management and coaching.
- Business intelligence, analytics, or statistical technology experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent commercial experience
- Opportunity to lead a strategically important data and reporting function.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale transformation and analytics programmes.
- Work alongside senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Influence data strategy and business decision-making.
