Your new role
As Programme Manager, you will lead a large-scale Operating Model Transformation programme, overseeing multiple workstreams across organisational design, people change, service delivery, governance, workforce transition and business readiness.Working closely with senior executives, programme sponsors and change leaders, you will be responsible for managing delivery, navigating complex stakeholder environments and ensuring the successful implementation of the future-state operating model.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of a large and complex transformation programme.
- Managing programme governance, planning, reporting, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Driving operating model design and implementation activities across multiple business areas.
- Leading stakeholder engagement across Executive leadership, faculties and professional services functions.
- Partnering with Change Managers and business leaders to support people transition, readiness and adoption.
- Managing organisational impacts, including role changes, accountability shifts and new ways of working.
- Ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Building strong relationships across a diverse and highly matrixed stakeholder environment.
- Proven Programme Management experience delivering large-scale operational or organisational transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading Operating Model Transformation or Target Operating Model programmes.
- Strong people transformation experience, including organisational design, workforce transition and changes to roles and accountabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and business leaders.
- Strong programme governance, risk management and delivery capabilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on programme execution.
- Previous experience within Higher Education will be highly regarded.
