DWS is seeking an experienced Test Director to lead testing activities for a major transformation program within a complex banking environment. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing enterprise testing strategy, ensuring quality outcomes across multiple workstreams, and driving successful delivery of critical business and technology initiatives.
Working closely with senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and delivery teams, you will provide strategic direction across all phases of testing while ensuring governance, risk management and delivery objectives are achieved. This role requires a seasoned testing professional with extensive banking experience and a proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs.

Please note: Demonstrated experience within the banking sector is a mandatory requirement for this opportunity.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Strong and proven experience within software testing, quality assurance and enterprise technology delivery environments.
• Proven experience operating as a Test Director or senior testing leader on large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Extensive expertise developing and executing enterprise test strategies, test frameworks and governance models.
• Demonstrated success leading complex end-to-end testing programs across multiple delivery streams and stakeholders.
• Strong banking industry experience is essential, ideally within large retail banking environments.
• Proven experience delivering testing outcomes within complex and highly regulated financial services organisations.
• Experience managing testing teams, vendors and third-party delivery partners across enterprise-scale programs.
• Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite executives, senior leadership teams and key business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of risk management, quality assurance practices and enterprise delivery methodologies.
• Experience operating within environments with stringent governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, digital transformation initiatives and emerging technology trends is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
