We're working with a respected accounting and advisory practice in Wangaratta that provides a broad range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services to local businesses, SMEs, family groups and individuals. With continued growth across the practice, they're looking to bring an Accountant into their team.
This is a great opportunity for an Accountant who wants exposure to a varied client base, enjoys building relationships and is keen to continue developing their technical skills. You'll work alongside experienced Accountants, Managers and Directors while taking increasing ownership of your own portfolio.

About You
- 2+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice.
- Relevant accounting qualification, with CA or CPA studies underway or a willingness to commence.
- Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
- Good understanding of Australian accounting principles and taxation legislation.
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients and handling day-to-day queries.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Diverse Client Portfolio: Gain exposure to a broad range of businesses, industries and individual clients across the Wangaratta region.
- Development & Mentoring: Work closely with experienced professionals who will support your technical and professional development.
