This role is responsible for accomplishing various claims activities in managing motor related claims across Asia i.e. Malaysia, HK & Singapore. Likewise, they are responsible for fulfilling specific steps in the entire end to end claims process.
Responsibilities: - Handle and settle Motor own damage, third party property damage and windscreen claim according with QBE's guideline.
- Maintain good relationships with the policy holder, the agents, the brokers, the service providers and other internal counterparts.
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with motor repairers
- Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if coverage's apply to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.
- Setting reserves and settling claims in the most costs effective manner an ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.
- Identify recovery and motor salvage opportunities on claims.
- Identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor and arranging investigation if further action is taken.
Requirements: - Basic knowledge of insurance in particular of motor insurance.
- Well versed with motor repair industry and understanding on repair methods
- Sound knowledge of customer management.
- Body repair, MRC, ICAR qualification will be advantageous.
- Knowledge on Merimen and policy management systems.
- Ability to speak in Cantonese will be preferred to effectively communicate with customers in Hong Kong.
