Principal Responsibilities

Secure progress of necessary enhancements in progress and FCC embedding needs under a strong governance. The job holder have to shift scenario to a best proactive approach. As QA personal detects fails patterns on individuals or teams, Governance actively start to introduce trainings, reinforce communications, propose consequence measures and propose MSIIs with actions .

Responsibilities

  • To manage a team responsible for the sampling and testing of FCC controls for GTRF Transaction Services as per the GTRF FCC Procedures.
  • Increase FCC awareness by ensuring GTRF staff are fully conversant with their responsibilities with regard to FCC related controls
  • Responsibility for the Quality Assurance for WOLF and Anti-Money Laundering checks.
  • Coordinate Internal and External Audit reviews - tracking all findings until closure
  • Provide MI to Senior Management analyzing trends and identifying and any potential risk areas.
  • Facilitate adequate and timely cascading of all procedural changes to avoid noncompliance with agreed procedures
  • Act as the liaison point between GTRF Transaction Services and the various risk functions
  • Implement and ensure adherence of GTRF transformation plans and efficiency tasks towards Processing and Client Services teams.
  • Monitor FCC, Regulatory and BQAP performance for the Country within the defined deadlines.
  • Providing support and guidance to the Department on areas of improvement/concern with regard to FCC, Regulatory and BQAP controls
  • Lead a highly motivated and skilled team, where skills and knowledge openly shared, which allows GTRF to meet the business objectives and contains risk.
  • To provide a platform to enable Group companies to significantly reduce their operating costs whilst maintaining Customer service standards.


Qualifications
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong International Trade experience working knowledge of ICC Publications UCP600, URC522 & URR725, ISBP et.
  • Experience in a transformation function and risk management would be preferred
  • Knowledge of key current regulatory change initiatives and their impacts on the GTRF business
  • Proven ability in leading a large team and strong people management.
  • An excellent understanding of the regulatory environment and expectations, interpretation of rules and guidance together with and other relevant regulations, codes and HSBC Group Standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both key stakeholder and Senior Management.
  • Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time.
  • Capable leading multiple projects and deliverables at one time.
  • Strong managerial, communications, planning, organizational, decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation in an ever-changing environment.
