Your EDGE assignment/You will:
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Agile methodologies in practical work scenarios.
  • Perform all necessary roles within an agile development team to design, build, and deploy applications aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute actively to continuous improvement within the team, providing honest and open feedback based on your experience.
  • Participate actively in refining development practices and processes, sharing expertise and insights to enhance software quality, maintainability, and development efficiency.
  • Mentor and assist junior team members through pair programming and peer review.
  • Translate user requirements into code and clarify with stakeholders when needed.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-organized code, implementing TDD and unit testing for high-quality software.
  • Adopt a habit of writing code as documentation and employ various types of tests.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Configure, modify, or extend CI/CD pipelines using various providers.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and apply them appropriately.
  • Design and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software architecture following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and proactively seek understanding of existing systems.
  • Support Product Managers by assessing solution alternatives, considering technical limitations and operational realities, and providing recommendations.

Are you the one?
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Core/6/7
  • Experience with Clean Code - TDD, SOLID, etc.
  • Knowledge of Clean Architecture.
  • Having worked with distributed systems/microservices.
  • An experience with payment providers or financial services would be considered an advantage.
  • Having Azure services experience - Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vaults - would be considered an advantage.
  • Possession of clear communication skills and proven technical experience.

Your EDGE assignment/You will:
  • A member of Incident Response team to manage critical incidents - to monitor, manage and provide root cause analysis and reporting on Operational Risk issues.
  • Risk identification, assessment and evaluation: Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company, evaluating controls and development and implementation of enhancements, including technical solutions.
  • Second line risk oversight and monitoring over the Key Group Risks to ensure the appropriate processes, policies, limits and controls are in place to protect Axicorp as BAU and for unforeseen issues.
  • Review and implementing risk management policies and procedures for the business.
  • Supporting management and different businesses to understand the risks under their control and to assist them to develop effective control mechanisms and enhance the risk management culture.
  • Strong communication across the Axi business line.
  • Enterprise-wide Annual Risk Review - engagement with all departments and Executives to identify new risks and assess current key risks, documenting and reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee (RAC).
  • The ability to provide quantitative and analytical reporting for executive visibility and to improve decision making.
  • Organised, capable and able to meet tight deadlines and make decisions effectively but swiftly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Support on special AXI projects as the Head of Risk may delegate. This may involve coordinating multiple simultaneous work streams and communicating effectively with individuals to ensure project deadlines are met and benefits delivered.

  • Experience in engaging with different businesses to identify, assess and review Key Group Risks.
  • Knowledge of preparing analytical reporting for senior management.
