About the Role The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of HR specialists who deliver a full spectrum of HR core services - payroll, benefits administration, employee relations - across the APAC region.
The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of HR specialists who deliver a full spectrum of HR core services - payroll, benefits administration, employee relations - across the APAC region.
What to expect: - Reporting to the Regional Head of HR, lead a small team providing a full spectrum of HR core services within the APAC region
- Knowledge of employment law across the APAC region
- Proven ability to develop and coach a team of HR specialists
- Must possess excellent communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adept at resolving employee relations issues including investigations and employee disciplinary actions
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Prior regional experience or exposure will be necessary
- Domains : Compensation & Benefits / Employee Relations / Payroll
What will make you successful: - At least 10 years of professional experience of which 5 years in a payroll and/or benefits function
- Manage the payroll function for the region including but not limited to monthly payroll, final payment, local administration, tax filing, statutory surveys and leave calculation
- Responsible for working with our global broker in the region to ensure benefit programs are in compliance with company's policies and pay philosophy, and renewed in a timely manner
- Advise people managers and HR Business Partners on employee relations matters including grievances, disputes, disciplinary cases and terminations
- Review existing policies and procedures, drive process improvement to ensure best practice HR operations (e.g. onboarding, offboarding, Workday system)
- Lead Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activities from a regional HR perspective
- Assist in any ad-hoc HR projects or reporting when required
