PL/SQL developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions and guidance for complex programming solutions.
• Design and document applications and databases according to the user/ business requirements.
• Analyze and design test scenarios and test cases based on business and/or technical requirements.
• Conduct complex feasibility studies on strategic IT solutions.
• Apply enterprise architecture in the design and development of applications/ databases.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by management.
• 24/7 production support (rotation basis)
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Essential skills:

• Good handful experience in PL/SQL, Weblogic 12c, and Oracle Reports 12c and Oracle Forms 12c technologies.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripting.
• Proficient in Performance Tuning of PL/SQL Programming & Troubleshooting.
• Good development/troubleshooting knowledge in Java related technologies preferred.
• Strong development knowledge on Object-Oriented Software Engineering.
• Able to work independently, detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
