Kafka Developer

• Minimum 3 years of experience in kafka development.
• Cloud technologies (AWS and GCP)
• Streaming Technologies (we use Kafka, SNS & SQS)
• At least one of Python, Java, C#, C++
• Frameworks such as Flask or Django
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (we use Splunk, App Dynamics and CloudWatch)
• Knowledge on Confluent Kafka ( Confluent kafka connector)
• Schema registry (Avro, protobuf, Json)
• Having knowledge on Kafka streams is additional benefit
• Error handling/Dead letter queue concept
• Knowledge on Unix shell commands would be required in debug or back end operation in performing different action items on Kafka broker
• Experience on using any Kafka monitoring tool for data processing/consumer lags if any
• Additional advantage if one has idea on postgresql, Amazon DynamoDB and AWS
