Internship - Web Application Developer (Java)

About the Role
The MyStandards Platform team is looking for fresh talents to complement the already diverse team. As an intern in the team, you will work hands-on with experienced individuals and be part of an agile software engineering team.

MyStandards is a one-of-a-kind platform that allows financial institution to define and publish financial messaging standards. These messaging standards facilitate communication between more than 1000 institutions in the financial community. At its core, it has a Java backend, a front-end built on React, and a tech stack complemented with integrations to many industry-class components.

As an Agile team, engineers in the team are involved and have full ownership of the development, qualification, and deployment of the application.

What To Expect

• You will be working with a team of cross-regional and cross-functional engineers on Swift's MyStandards application.
• Under the guidance of your colleagues, you will be part of the Agile Squad and collaborate together to deliver production-ready software.
• You will be immersed in the whole agile software delivery experience from sprint-planning to retrospectives and day-to-day tasks such as development, testing, and operations.

What Will Make You Successful

• An elementary understanding of programming concepts, fluency in English, and a strong desire to learn!
• Currently undergoing a university degree program in computer science or related field, or recently graduated from one.
