We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, Secured & Unsecured Personal Lending.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing unsecured loans (APF-i) for RBWM.
  • To assist in the end-to-end execution of product developments, campaigns and promotions management to meet the needs of RBWM customers in order to position HSBC Bank as the preferred bank.
  • To implement the unsecured loan business policies and strategies that contribute to the Bank's profitability in accordance with AOP.
  • To review / analyze the market environment, identify and recommend new initiatives to grow and /or counter competitors offers that may impact our market share.
  • To ensure the highest level of support to meet branches and other department's business needs in pursuit of secured loans goals.
  • To implement and manage business acquisition, retention and customer satisfaction strategies as endorsed by senior management of RBWM .
  • To ensure awareness of compliance / audit requirements and implementation of Group Compliance policies .

  • Must have a bachelor's degree preferably a degree in Finance, business or in related fields.
  • Candidate with sales and marketing experience is preferred.
  • The candidate will need to be numerically strong, good in interpersonal skilll and is able to work as a team.
  • Technical knowledge is pertinent to demonstrate capability to develop product best suitable to the customer matched with the segment.
  • Have a minimal of 2-5 years experience in product development and product management both in insurance and bancassurance channel.
  • Possess good communication skills, independent and have the pleasant attitude in working towards tasks given.
  • Excellent language proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
