KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Actively performing marketing activities to develop new clients and enhance existing clients’ relationship across all levels of key management & major shareholders.
2. Market and penetrate across the Client’s key group companies to diversify risk and concentration.
3. Structuring of term sheet for new financing proposal for discussion and negotiation with prospective and existing customers.
4. Cross-sell of different products of SMBC namely Project Finance, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury, Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives etc to diversify and enhance earnings.
5. Responsible for department and Bank’s performance towards achieving the overall business goals and KPIs of the Bank.
6. Manage the borrowing portfolio to ensure risk reward return are appropriately adjusted/ maintained.
7. Analyse request (applications, waivers, breaches, etc) and provide recommendation and solution/ alternatives from business continuation/ customer relationship management perspective.
8. Lead and responsible for legal documentation of credit facilities including negotiation of terms (post approval). Responsible in making commercial decision (subject to the necessary approval obtained/ to be obtained).
9. Attending to and responsible for KYC (on-boarding & annual review), including liaising & obtaining/ dealing with the necessary documents from customers, Client Services dept and Compliance dept.
10. To perform as ‘checker’ for data accuracy in CCRIS system after input by Credit Analyst.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
1. Degree, diploma, or professional qualification in business, economics, marketing or related discipline
- With degree, at least 8 years of banking related experience, of which minimum 6 years in corporate banking activities including financing, project finance or marketing related areas.
- With Diploma, at least 15 years banking related experience, of which minimum 10 years corporate banking related areas.
2. Good understanding of various industries.
