Sales Support Analyst
General Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide sales support for multiple product lines and work to become a sales process subject matter expert
  • Work closely with Sales Team to ensure proper and prompt updates of pipeline into the Salesforce tool
  • Maintain data integrity of the Salesforce and SAP systems
  • Support the sales teams including, but not limited to, contract generation, assisting in renewal processes, usage of Sales Force Automation, Vanguard, Business Objects and SAP Valid Order Package processes and general administrative support
  • Any other sales support tasks as required to ensure the effective operation of the role and the Sales and Sales Support/Operations department


Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing support and administrative coordination on the sales/renewal process for Sales teams, including Sales Management.
  • Able to discuss and explain contractual guidelines of products with account managers, finance, product managers, product delivery, sales operations in an accurate and organized manner.
  • Assist in preparation and distribution for client legal agreements, attachments, proposals, purchase orders and business correspondence as required.
  • Process signed and executed renewal contracts in Salesforce system and liase with sales operations.
  • If applicable, prepare client usage statistics for sales team prior to renewal conversations.
  • Ability to support incoming sales calls when Sales team members are away from the office.
  • Process product or service cancellations. Create cancellation forms and route to appropriate internal product group or accounting for processing.
  • Maintain and provide all contracts requested by the account manager on behalf of the client.
  • Responsible for researching and resolution of product delivery and invoicing challenges in behalf of the customer/account manager. With the ability to accurately and succinctly explain any such resolution to the appropriate Sales team member, Sales Manager or client contact.
  • Maintain sales performance related spreadsheets and/or databases for Sales Management monthly.
  • Provide adhoc sales analysis and reports as needed.
  • Accurate and timely submissions by month end on any client cancellations to Order Validation Team (OV Team).
  • Submit to OV Team accurate client data information (edits/changes for address and or contact) for uploading into SAP.
  • Generate weekly reports in Salesforce system and providing Sales managers with analysis of weekly team performance.
  • Creating and maintaining a custom-made activity performance tracking report for the sales team.
  • Provide Salesforce and process training to new Account Managers and as required.
  • To support Account Managers/Sales Management with Quotations & preparation of Power Point slides.


Experience and Skills Required:
  • Strong familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (Experience in Salesforce, SAP, and/or Business Objects would be advantageous)
  • Sales Operations experience preferred
  • Knowledge in all MS Office applications
  • Highly organized and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful team experience in supporting multiple colleagues.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, must be self-directed and motivated
  • Able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good communications and relationship building skills along with the ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Ability to interact professionally with both clients and peers
  • Ability to work extended hours, comfortable doing calls / emails late evening & weekends to meet external & internal deadlines
  • Ability to document processes and procedures.
  • Must be cooperative and able to work in a team environment. Details oriented.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support or a similar position, preferably with multinational companies
