Position Overview


This position is made available due to natural attribution. The position is a senior member of the APAC Network Security Deployment team, which provide critical role of Network Security solutioning, project deploying and managing of escalated critical incidents. As a senior member of the team, he/she is playing the critical role of ensuring the Asia Pacific Network Security environment (Firewall, proxy, border network, internal security network) are deployed and managed in compliance to global standard. The role is critical to the security and stability of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

You are expected to:

  • Support and implement user requests pertaining to Security connectivity and ensuring that requests are fulfilled satisfactorily and within expected SLA.
  • Understand business requirement; review, advice and propose most cost effective solution.
  • Be responsible for managing Network Security projects within costs and timeline.
  • Be responsible for escalated Network Security incidents with timely actions, resolution and proper closure.
  • Develop, promote and enforce standard.

People Management:

  • Candidate must have working experience in an enterprise environment, with multi region exposure.
  • He/she should be able to work as a team member in a multi discipline group.
  • He/she should be able to manage project independently by himself/herself and coordinate changes with Network and Security teams in APAC.
  • He/she must be able articulate well in a multi culture environment across the whole of APAC
  • He/she should be technically inclined in with strong knowledge and experience in Checkpoint Firewall, McAfee Web Gateways, Cisco routers/switches, and NIDS, IPS knowledge.

  • Degree in IT or Networking.
  • 5 to 10+ years of Secure and Core Network relevant experience.
  • Certification in Networking, Checkpoint Firewall, NIDS, proxy.
  • ITIL certified.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
