Ellwood Consulting: currently 1 jobs. The latest job was posted on 20 Feb 17.
We've known for some time that there is a gap in the recruitment industry. On one end of the spectrum there are the large, public-listed companies who have a responsibility to their shareholders and are forced to focus on the numbers. On the other end are the venture capital funded firms that have obligations to their investors, and need to focus on delivering quick returns.
We fill this gap by bringing you the experience and knowledge of the large companies, without the corporate, shareholder focused objectives. At the same time, retaining the aspiration of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that the smaller venture capital, short-term growth focused firms aren’t able to sustain.
Some people would describe this gap as a niche, but in practice it’s a strategic necessity.
A privately owned firm has the professional pride of focusing on delivering greater value to its clients, not its backers. This opportunity is what we want to give to you. Instead of our internal meetings being dominated by discussions on targets and shareholders, we can spend that time talking about and understanding our clients and candidates.
By filling this gap, we can fulfill your needs more personally, more pro-actively, and with greater integrity. Our success isn’t solely dependent upon delivering a product in the form of a candidate, it’s based on delivering you long-term relationships with Ellwood Consulting, and more importantly, between you and your candidate
At Ellwood Consulting we believe the process is just as important as the end result, and we let this principle guide the way we recruit and the way we serve our clients. Our focus on quality, in all aspects of what we do, is what sets us apart and ensures our clients and our candidates end up where they need to be.
As consultants, our role extends beyond scanning resumes - we aren’t a factory that churns out candidates. We know that sending multitudes of resumes to an employer and hoping they hire someone doesn't work in the long run. If you know your human capital is an investment, then we have the knowledge and the expertise to ensure you profit.
By listening to both sides, candidate and employer, we are able to understand what is required to fill a position. Taking that understanding we can define objectives for both parties, and using these objectives we are able to filter candidates coming through our sourcing channels and when both objectives are met, we know we have found the best fit.
Our team of consultants have backgrounds rich in not only recruitment experience, but in the functions they specialise in. Functional experience means our consultants understand the specific needs of a role and are better able to assess a candidate’s capabilities and competency.
In terms of filling a role, our consultants have wide-reaching networks from which they can source the best candidates. From their previous roles in specialised functions, they know what the right person looks like on paper, and are then able to use their expertise in assessing the soft side of a candidate to narrow down the search and find you the right candidate.
